Purpose
The site presents the Jewish heritage of Ksar el-Kebir (Alcazarquivir, Morocco): the cemetery, the tzadik's shrine, the synagogues and the history of the community, together with a name database. It is informational and non-commercial.
Content and intellectual property
The texts, photographs and the map are protected by copyright; the name database is also protected by the database producers' right (art. L341-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code). Personal, family and research use is free; short quotations are allowed with the source and a link to the site. Any other reproduction, and any bulk or systematic extraction from the database, requires the association's written permission.
The name database
The information is transcribed from historical sources (registers, gravestone inscriptions). It may contain errors or be incomplete, and is provided without warranty. Corrections and additions are welcome through the contact form; requests for removal are considered.
Use of the site
Sending unlawful or abusive content through the site, or content that infringes the rights of others, and interfering with its operation are forbidden.
Links and third-party services
The site links to other sites (other towns' cemeteries, YouTube, Facebook) for which the association is not responsible. Donations go through the allodons.fr platform, under its own terms.
Liability
The association does its best to provide accurate information and an available site, but cannot guarantee either.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. They may change; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
